Jean Monnet Chair of European Union has the honor to invite You to the International Scientific Conference “Facing the Challenges in European Union. Re-thinking of EU Education and Research for Smart and Inclusive Growth (EuInteg)” that will take place on 14-15th May 2015 at Warsaw School of Economics in Poland.
The Conference is organized by the Polish European Community Studies Association in cooperation with Warsaw School of Economics (Jean Monnet Chair of European Union and Department of Public Administration, Collegium of Socio-Economics), University of Warsaw (Center for Europe and Institute of International Relations) and University of Gdańsk (Center for European Integration Research of Faculty of Economics) with the support of European Community Studies Association (ECSA), European Academy of Diplomacy and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung in Poland. The EuInteg 2015 Conference is organized as part of Jean Monnet Information Project “Policy Debate with Academic World” (Programme Erasmus+ of the European Commission). The Conference also marks 25th anniversary of the Polish European Community Studies Association. Important representatives of public institutions, including the European Commission and the European Parliament, Polish Government, national and international universities, non-governmental and professional organizations have confirmed participation in the Conference.

The new challenges for European integration that influence development of multi- and interdisciplinary approach in European studies are the main subject of the Conference. Its aims include enhancing international educational, scientific and research cooperation in the field of European studies, particularly through participation of young researchers and professionals from Poland and other states, including Eastern Partnership states. The Conference also offers opportunity to discuss economic and political transformation of Poland and share Polish experience with other countries undergoing systematic transformation.
We are proud to inform that the European Parliament have taken High Patronage of the Conference. We are also proud to inform that European Commission Representation in Poland, Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Infrastructure and Development and National Center for Research and Development have taken Honorary Patronage of the Conference. In addition, the event will be organized under Patronage of Polish Bank Association and Association of Top 500 Innovators.
No fee is charged for participation in the EuInteg Conference. The organizers provide simultaneous Polish-English and English-Polish interpretation. The project is co-financed by the European Union (Programme Erasmus+) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland (“Co-operation in the Area of Public Diplomacy 2015”.
