Loyola University Chicago and SGH Decision Support and Analysis Unit organize ROVER International Conference on June 12-13, 2017
The Route Optimization/VEhicle Routing (ROVER) Conference in Warsaw, co-hosted by the Warsaw School of Economics and Loyola University Chicago will take place on June 12-13, 2017. It is intended to provide an opportunity for participants to share new research, work collaboratively, and to discuss future directions in the routing subfield of operations research. In the spirit of this jointly hosted conference, note that the title has a dual transit related meaning, as rower (pronounced rover) means bicycle in Polish, while it is a synonym for traveler in English.
The conference will consist of sessions interspersed with extended breakout periods. Attendees who are collaborating on research with other attendees will present that work, receiving feedback from the group and spending time during breakout periods discussing this feedback. Some attendees will also present research that they are working on independently or with others, also in the interest of receiving feedback. The breakout periods will also provide an opportunity for new collaborative work to begin, or to further previously initiated projects.
The attendees are the top researchers in the field from Europe and North America, including representatives from the US, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, and the Netherlands.
It is planned that the selected best papers presented at the conference will be published in Special Issue of Networks journal.
